Our People

Matthew Goldberg

Matthew found his passion for financial education in college, where he taught short seminars to local high students on topics ranging from building money habits to investing.

Professionally, Matthew has a background in investment banking, having worked in Equity Capital Markets for over three years. Prior, he spent time working in equity trading at a wealth management firm.

In founding KnowCash, Matthew and Hannah felt that our current financial education systems can leave gaps, and wanted to help fill them in.

For fun, Matthew is an avid movie watcher, video game player, and enjoys finding opportunities to try, and learn, new things.

Hannah Maluth

Hannah has over 7 years of experience tutoring and mentoring both middle school and high school students. She has volunteered with local Bay Area organizations such as Reading Partners and Peninsula Bridge and national organizations such as Moneythink.

Hannah believes financial literacy is a necessary piece of adolescent education that is often missing from curriculum. Hannah is so excited to join Matthew in making KnowCash a reality.

In her day-to-day life, Hannah is a Mathematics and Economics teacher at Crystal Springs Uplands School. She enjoys reading, attending local concerts, and trying new restaurants San Francisco has to offer.
